Every once in a while we like to hear from YOU!!!  This week PDA covered every topic in the news that we could in 2 hours. There is so much going on in the world and it was clear last night that we were all on different sides of the coin with many issues. The chat room full of our repeat offenders asked challenging and fun questions!! The newbies in the room are becoming a force of their own. 

We began the night with politics and the crazy comments that are coming from the “people” ( no name calling ) who are running for various offices. All I will say is this if both sides say get out of the race; LEAVE!!!!  Peepin Shaun and KiKi finally disagree on something …whew! If you want to know what that was about you gotta go check out the archives.  The questions about the way votes are counted and if they really matter is a hot topic for all. This even got our Producer Chandra to speak.  Do you know any people from the “Electoral College”?

Moving on to sports and reality TV, who who head butted who?! My question is who the hell cares? Clearly a lot of people do and can’t seem to live with out celebrity business.  Halle berry and her custody issues caused me to really roll my eyes! Now if you want to know how I really feel about reality TV and celebrity business tune into the archives.

We covered parenting and how video games may or may not play a role in the behavior of  this younger generation. We have gamers on this panel so this of course was a heated portion of the show.  Double standards for housewives and house husbands was debated with our Resident Sports Analyst Rocky Miller and of course this sparked plenty of controversy along with lots of humor.

Needless to say the letter was of a great concern to our panel and is not so uncommon in many relationships.  After you take a listen to the show come back and tell us your advice for your fellow listener. I’m sure Dr. G would have been able to give her some guidance as well had she not been being honored as Dr. of the Month in her community!! Congrats Dr. G!!

WOW! What a season! Time to re-group and reorganize the playbook of your relationship life.  As we continue with our relationship series, we have reached the point where we are over it but not quite ready to get off the bench.  Now its time to reflect and do a self-inventory check on how we behave in relationships.

Ms. KiKi, Peepin’ Shaun and myself took the only approach we know how; Accountability!  The chat room was full of repeat offenders and quite a few rookies! They were full of questions and some answers on how to get yourself in order before even thinking about going back into the game of dating.

Start looking at what you attract and where you go to attract your potential mate, don’t take extra baggage into something new and if you want to know Ms. KiKi’s golden rule on baggage you gotta tune in to the archives.   Can you guess how many people our “Silent Producer” Chandra has on her roster? Yep you guessed it…a visit to the archives will satisfy your curiosity.  We posed several question to our audience and chat room like;

1. Should you see someone right after a break up?
2. Does being alone mean you are lonely?
3. Should a woman get what she wants when she wants it?

The answers to these questions and many more are covered in this broadcast. The bottom line is that there are quite a few things that should be done before you start your new relationship season.  All of them start with taking a look at your own behavior in when you are in a relationship.

The “Ask PDA Letter” caused Ms. KiKi to break into a “Coaching Moment” , some things should be common sense but when it comes to matters of the heart, that can go right out the window. Tune in and find out what we told our listener and then tell us your thoughts.

There comes a time when everyone needs a serious reality check! Well leave it to PDA to give it to you. Once again we are bold enough to go where many people are not willing to go… to the mirror!  Relationships go through many cycles and one of the main ones is the blame game; “He/she did this to me.”  Tonight the cast of Playing Devil’s Advocate™  looked at what role did you play in the demise of your relationship?

We came up with a list of characters and broke each one of them down. Take a listen to the archives and see if you recognize any of them as someone you have dated or maybe it’s YOU!

I’m sure when you take a listen you will notice that you or your former mate are one or more of the characters on our list. We found out that Peepin’ Shaun is a “know-it-all”, KiKi must be in “control” and I always want my way.  The key here is we know this about ourselves and how to correct it.  Do you know which one you are? Are you willing to take a closer look into yourself and make some adjustments?

This is the time we can all point the finger at ourselves and begin to have some healthy relationships in our lives. We were joined by special guest Mark Tallman of the VH1 series Single Ladies. This show is all about relationships and Mark was able to breakdown how his character is a “Momma’s Boy”  and how that will develop over the season. Then it was time for our “Ask PDA” letter and this one was a serious cry for help.  To find out the details of our letter and what we advised our listener to do, tune in to the archives. No matter how many times we have heard the biblical quote “Honor thy mother and thy father…”, we want to really give them a piece of our minds at times.  As adults when does “Parental Guidance” become completely over bearing?  Well, glad you asked…as always last night we provided a candid and detailed look at the ways our parents can become a nightmare in our lives.  

Are you a victim of unsolicited advice from your mom or dad? Ever hear thing like; “That’s not the way I would do it!” How about making you feel guilty or using emotional blackmail to get you to do things?  This one even caused our Producer Chandra to share her beverage and her thoughts with us on just how much emotional blackmail her  grandmother dishes out.

We also touched on how as grandparents we tend to break all the parenting rules for our precious little angels. Let them have that candy or drink juice while eating dinner.   Why follow the rules, we’re sending them home anyway LOL!  Each one of us discussed how favoritism played a role in our families.  Everything from catching the beat downs to getting away with murder. Find out which one of us had to deal with being the oldest child and who besides KiKi was the spoiled youngest child.  KiKi asked each of us a pretty important and probing question and she also answered it thanks to Peeping Shaun.  To find out, you guessed it and once you listen to the archives you tell us which one sounds like your family.

Dr G. chimed in and gave us an earful on what works her last nerve about meddlesome parents. I even gave a bit of insight into how it is affecting the relationships with my own siblings. (Always a coaching moment on PDA). Are you the child who handles everything for your parents or are you the one who can’t deal with the pressures of an aging or dying parents? Tune into the archives to find out where you really stand and what you can do to get some relief and guidance on how to handle it.

If  there is one thing that can be said about Playing Devil’s Advocate™ is that we will always bring you new, raw Edutainment!   This week’s show was no different.  In our weekly production meeting (which is really a show not broadcast to the public LOL) we came across the subject of “swingers”.   In order to provide accurate details, Ms. KiKi decided to send me on assignment.  

My mission was to attend a swingers function with a guest and report my experience.  Let me say this,  I had a ball! (Pun intended)  It was a very welcoming environment and plenty of party games to watch and/or participate in.   I know your next question is, “What Happened Sporty? What did you do there?”, well for specific details you know the drill; check out the archives.  

We also had our special guest swingers “Sunshyne ” and ‘Keith“, both were very open and candid about the lifestyle and how they became a part of it.   Sunshyne let us know that single ladies have all kinds of fun perks unlike single men who are pretty much not allowed unless accompanied by a female.  Keith made it plain that if you search for what you want it is out there;  Whew!  From fantasies to fetishes; feeling freaky can be fulfilling.This was one show where Rocky Miller’s famous quote to me was on point LMBO! What is that quote you ask? –Listen to the archives to get that tidbit.

The questions were non-stop from the chat room, tweets, inbox and callers!  I thought I was on the witness stand when our resident legal expert , Ikiesha began firing away with questions. Everyone answered openly and honestly.  Through this lively question and answer session you will be able to discover what other things the cast of PDA has in common.

We had  terminology break downs of soft swinging, full swaps and voyeurism just to name a few and if you want to know the definitions then tune in to the archives and take your notepad.  Peeping Shaun our new testosterone gave just a little more detail about himself and I’m sure there are more great things in store for our PDA family and friends .  Then it was time for the Ask PDA letter and this writer needed to know that there are some requests even within a marriage that will shock you.  Once you hear the letter come back and tell us how you would handle her situation and what is your advice to the letter writer.

Big shout outs to our repeat offenders in the chat room who are always in rare form and to all of our rookies who are fitting in like a familiar pair of shoes.  Thanks so much for your continued support! We had our resident Legal Expert Ikeisha El Shabazz, Esq. break it down on several of your legal questions. She was able to give details on terms, policies and procedures. Make sure you know how much force to use on attackers and how to stay out of jail.

Up next was our new shotgun rider Shaun Amin with entertainment and in addition to that awesome  voice he gave some excellent pointers on breaking into the business and staying there. Going union seems to be the best bet per Shaun & KiKi; check out the archives to judge for yourself.

Bringing up the medical 411 was our resident Medical Expert Dr. G! Get your proper screenings at the right times. Exams save lives and prevent severe medical issues.  We tell our Dr’s so much information but who can they share it with and under what circumstances can they share it? Check out the archives for the answer to that and many other questions from our panel and our audience.

It was then time for the “Ask PDA” letter and it was an eye opener to say the least.  The panel seemed to be in agreement with the decision the writer should make.  All I will say is this; “After the nut then what?”  Check out the archives and come back with your opinion on this matter.

Out the gate this was a hot button pusher! KiKi let us know how she really felt about Fox News!  I agree with that 100%! You would think news channels would show some discretion when it comes to picking sides.  First on the chopping block was the ” Cushy, self-centered and patronizing” Rush Limbaugh. Once you begin the recap you can hear his horrible comments and piss poor ass apology to Sandra Fluke!  His mother should have swallowed!

Moving right along, before I really get heated… We gave our personal reviews of  the Sarah Palin movie “Game Change“. Seems to be a pretty accurate account from the reviews and people portrayed in the film . Personally I think she has had enough air time for her air head!!   Please tune into the archives to find out how we all really feel about this awesome film depiction of Mrs. Palin and what the PAC‘s are really up to since their inception.  

Meanwhile back at the ranch, we have Mitt “Flip Flop” Romney; please, please listen to the clips played on the show and count for yourself how many times he flip-flopped on the issues!  Then come back and post your responses! We discussed Newt Gingrich and as vast as my vocabulary is I would only want to @#$%^&*&(*& when it comes to him. His mother should be arrested for having sex let alone getting pregnant and exposing us to her exclusive how to NOT raise cattle, because he is an ASS ! IJS!!!

Then there is Rick Santorum (last name is pretty close to sanitarium or even Satan), let just say he completely offends the delicacy of my fragile nature!  I would love for him to be a guest in the Englewood community of Chicago for 24 hours on a Saturday and then give a speech. HAHAHAHAHA!!!  

The team had a lot to say about these political clowns and Rocky shares his strong Texas Accent to elaborate on his POV!!! Even Sassy Angel was a bit heated. To find out all the juicy details check out the archives and sound off below.

The news has been a non-stop buzz this week! We had so many stories to cover that I’m sure we missed a few. Of course we addressed the biggest headline of them all; the untimely death of Ms.Whitney Elizabeth Houston.  All kinds of speculation surround her death and of course opinions are all over the place.  KiKi gave her “Whitney” story and spoke to the “real” person she was, hopefully now she finally be able to rest in peace.

Our condolences also go out to Former Bears DT, Tommie Harris, who just lost his new bride at the age of 29 and has to raise his 2 babies on his own now.

We covered some hilarious stories as well like;  a 15 yr old girl calls police on her mom because she was having sex in her own home! Little girl please!!!   I would have…. well this isn’t about me LOL, so moving right along!  You will just have to listen to the archives to catch all of the stories we shared.  We got tear jerkers and dads who have had enough of their ungrateful children.

Both Sassy and I decided to do the show in just our “wings” so we could fly free and advise KiKi. Oh and the biggest news flash is that I’m going to adopt Todd!! (you have to check archives for that tidbit) LMBO

Well 2 down and 50 more to go!!!  This was a real heater! A few weeks ago the men had the chance to elaborate on what a “REAL MAN” actually means.   This week the women were on the hot seat and boy did we cover many details!

Rocky and Todd did a tag team on KiKi and  of course she held her own while our repeat offenders were in the chat room having mini debates of their own.

We discussed topics like:  accountability, not being afraid to apologize and being a good listener.  Let Rocky tell it, that knocks out most of the women he knows!  The big thing is this, there is a difference between REAL WOMEN and the “others“.   To find out more about the “others” you have to check out the archives.

The show got so good that our producer who never speaks; CHANDRA, got in on the action!  Lets just say she had more than 2 cents to include on the subject matter.  We also discovered that a “HOE” (whore, not the farming tool ) is not a real woman but a real woman can be a hoe! Figure that one out!

We also found a trigger word that most women don’t like but we will do it.  If you want to know what that word is, you guessed it… check out the archives!  We want to hear your input on that topic.

Can you say PDA in rare form?  Well, that is truly an understatement!  KiKi and the crew broke it down for us in 10 easy steps.  Now of course to get those steps you’re gonna have to listen to the archives.  LOL!

Many people carry drama from relationship to relationship; baby mamma/daddy drama, ex drama etc., so the time has come to keep it real and lay the cards on the table by acknowledging what role you play in the drama!  As you examine the 10 steps we break down, please realize if the shoes fits wear ‘em, then get them fixed and buy a new pair!

Todd held it down for the men and shared some, what I consider, valid points on his assessments of 4s vs. 10s and if you listen closely you might catch me agreeing with him on a few things.  Our resident legal expert (who let it be know that she is a 10) had a few “objections” of her own.

For some reason KiKi’s booty made it on the show yet again and rumor has it;  her booty has cut a side deal! LMAO!  (At least we know KiKi’s booty will not bring drama!)

The bottom line is accountability and responsibility for men and women.  And you must know there is a big difference in being grown and just over 21.  As for me, I have an additional bottom line and to catch my new coined phrase, you guessed it…go to the archives!  All I am going to say is…EVERYONE needs one!! LOL
