MEN TELL ALL: THE PREVIEW!! – The Recap
Wednesday, April 24, 2013
IN THE NEWS was the topic last week on Playing Devil’s Advocate – Hosted by Ms. KiKi and the crew discussed the hot issues of the day, but this week was so Turned Up I can’t type fast enough. This week was a preview of Ms. KiKi’s event this Saturday in Atlanta and ohhh wee if this Wednesday’s show was a preview, Saturday is going to be OFF THE CHAIN! The title of this week’s show was MEN TELL ALL! The panel for this week’s discussion ladies was just awesome; both visually and intellectually. Let me run down this abundance of testosterone that we had with us this week. Blue Kimble: actor, Devin Lewis: ex pro athlete and current model, Shawn Lovings: Entrepreneur and finally the co-host of the event Michael McFadden: Radio Personality. Please listen to the archives and hear what these men had to say.
This week’s show jumped off out the gate. The show started with the regular crew; “Mr. Know it All” Peepin’ Shaun and “The Fallen Angel” Sporty Spunky Angel. Michael McFadden joined us at the beginning and Ms. KiKi kicked off the questions with a good one. Can men and women truly be just friends? I was delightfully surprised at McFadden’s answer. The parameters that he injected were interesting, for instance, if a guy wants to get with a girl and she turns him down what would happen. Listen to the archives to find out if Peepin Shaun agrees with McFadden.
KiKi’s next question set things off! The question was, Do guys view a woman who approaches them differently than the woman whom they pursued? Devin obviously needed to get this off his chest and he meant what he said when he said “with the women to men ratio as it is YOU NEED TO IMPRESS ME!” Blue chimed in and didn’t really care who was offended because he said “its 11:00 and we are grown”! My favorite comment came from Blue as he said something like, this is a panel of educated, well groomed men with a diverse vocabulary and all their teeth. BOOM, LOVE IT!
To hear all comments; you know what you have to do…LISTEN TO THE ARCHIVES!
The chat room, as usual, was full of opinions especially from our rookies. The difference of opinion was the main discussion in the chat room as one of the rookies stirred up many responses. Some people believed the panel was not being honest or diverse enough in their answers, but I have to disagree. As stated before these are men cut from a similar cloth, but their views were different if you were listening to the words and not interjecting your opinion into their answers. Ms. KiKi of course broke it down and let the ladies know to get out their own way. Sporty got riled up and felt the need to let the rookie in the chat room have it with a poem and yes you have to LISTEN TO THE ARCHIVES to hear it.
The producer, Chandra out did herself again this week. ”The Communicator” is the “Drink of the Week” and is a perfect fit for the conversation. I personally hope she has these on hand Saturday at the event. That’s right The Producer will be the bartender at the “It’s Ok: Men Tell ALL!” event! Come join us and have the creator make a special one just for you.
Next up was the question of Plus Size Love. Again the panel gave it up 100% with the answers. Devin and Blue are both equal opportunity brothers as long as you keep it sexy. Now you know when your sexy is a little off ladies so you can’t wear your little sister’s clothes that you know are 4 sizes too small. Shaun and Michael agree, but don’t misunderstand, all men are different and what a man likes he likes. It seems that men definitely like confidence on a woman, according to the panel and if she is confident, no matter the size, she can “get some”. To hear exactly how these men broke it down LISTEN TO THE ARCHIVES, then comment.
Ms. KiKi again stirred up the conversation with the question about women with all fake everything. Devin will not limit himself by saying his woman has to be all natural as long as she looks good next to him and is not over the top he is good. Michael McFadden just wants to see the real you without all that “stuff” on. He doesn’t need you to be a different person in the morning. Now Blue’s perspective is not that he anti weave, but women have a lot of FAKE SHIT and that idea prompted him to ask a question that rendered everyone speechless. You have to LISTEN TO THE ARCHIVES and hear what the female caller had to say.
It was so exciting that we did not have time for the “Ask PDA” letter this week and that was just fine, in my opinion. But I urge you to tune in next week as we discuss a somewhat serious topic, but you know we will put the PDA spin on it….. “Rights are Rights, RIGHT?“
