Happy Thursday People!!!

Wow!!!  That’s all I can say–For some of us this week’s show was emotional, enlightening, funny and flat out Edutainment™!

Society talks about the racism that exists BETWEEN the races every day because it’s a part of the social commentary; however nobody is talking about the racism that exists WITHIN a particular race.

Listen to this week’s archives of Playing Devil’s Advocate™ as Ms. KiKi and the crew have the uncomfortable conversation about the racism people face among their own kind.

Were you appalled by Basketball Wives’, Tami Roman’s “black ass” comment to a dark skinned cast member?  or if you have said or heard someone say something like, “You’re so cute to be dark skinned...”–Listen to the archives NOW to hear the conversation!

We began the show by me announcing that I was in fact the “minority” on the panel and I shared a very personal experience that happened between my brother and myself that seemed to split the panel.  We went in depth about the insultiment, “You’re so cute to be dark skinned” and lets just say, the light skinned panelists were grasping for straws to justify that nonsense!

 Many people chimed in with their experiences and opinion on our social media sites & Mama Holiday share the benefit of her experiences with us on our Facebook page she even told her recipe for her designer baby…If you catch the archives you will find out which one of our panelist is the “Designer Baby“!  Rocky, Sporty Spunky Angel & our Producer Chandra all shared their experiences on when they realized color was a factor. (and lets just say, some of them were really surprising)

All in all, shows like these are the reason why I L-O-V-E what I do!  Because we are not afraid to have the uncomfortable conversation many were able to experience “light bulb moments” and learn how to be respectful and supportive rather than disrespectful & divisive.

We brought the show home with our “Ask PDA” letter and as usual it did not fail to bring out the opinions….This writer asked for 911 assistance so you must listen to the archives to hear it!  Don’t forget to share your  solution for the writer!!

Good afternoon PDA Family!

Last night’s show “MOOD KILLERS” was one of our best shows this year!  Our usual suspects were in the mood to give you the 411 on what they deemed “TURN OFFS” in the bedroom.  The show started off with bang with KiKi, Sporty, Sassy, Ikiesha, Rocky, special guest panelist Michael McFadden and my self honing right in on the “DONTS” and “WONTS” that make “WIMPS and “LIMPS”. From acting like a “FIRST TIMER” to a man’s timer “GOING OFF” to soon, nothing was left unspoken.

The educational part of the edutaiment driven show was the communication between the women and men discussing our “SEXUAL PET PEEVES”.  In normal cases, we would debate any point made but its hard to argue about what WONT get you laid.  While the chat room was buzzing, we had a male caller, “Ralph” chime in about his preference and turn off for the way a certain delicacy is prepared and served.  In turn, Chef KiKi gave us a recipe from her sexual smorgasbord in KiKi’S Kinky Kitchen that will surely ASSTOUND some, and delight others.  Now you know you have to listen to the archives for the ingredients and preparation for her devilish dish, but I will share what Sporty and her nasty mind came up with to enhance your sex lives with the video link provided below.

Good afternoon PDA Family!

I hope all of you feel better after your relationship check-up last night.  Many of us need regular check-ups, but for some strange reason, refuse to go see the LOVE DOCTOR. I must say last night my eyes were opened to symptoms I never recognized before. I learned that men and women have different ways of demonstrating relationship ills and that KiKi will break down the influenza of love in a heart beat then prescribe you the best medicine ever!  Take two minutes to think, and call her in the morning is the best treatment.  Sporty Angel will give you a WHODO spell to cure it then say, “Who do you think you are with that bull crap?” and all relationship woes go down the drain.  Rocky Miller is a little more cynical in his approach to love ailments and sometimes suggest it may be all in a person’s mind. Ikiesha gave her take on open-relationship love remedies that work if applied as directed.

Comedian Rodney Perry even dropped by to share his I wish that I could tell you everything that happened, but KiKi is the only licensed love practitioner who s allowed to write prescriptions (check out her book); but you have to make an appointment (buy her book) to get the best treatment.  While in the chat room, I noticed a few people in there misdiagnosing and treating themselves which explains why they continue to stay sick.

I suggest that you all check the archives, take notes and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!  As I listen back at the show from last night, I’m starting to feel better already.  Hindsight is 20/20 and the useful info was plenty/plenty. Until next week!!

Happy Thursday Sinners!!!

I know I always say the show was great, or it was a heater, but I can not tell a lie….it’s true!  I was joined by my usual motley crew, Todd “The Toddler” Fountaine, Sassy Angel & Sporty Spunky Angel while our Producer, Chandra was drinking on the job again!!!

This week’s show focused on PDA’s Deadly Sins, which are basically all the things that we do that impede our ability to live life fully.  I never tell you what you’re doing incorrectly without giving you something to correct the behavior.  Our chat room was buzzing with our usual suspects along with some rookies (one was listening from London at 3am local time!!) and our Facebook and Twitter was quite busy as well.

So I don’t keep you in too much suspense, here is the list of sins and their corresponding virtues….If you haven’t heard the show already, make sure you  listen to the archives and follow along with the list:

Shows like these that are the reason why I L-O-V-E what I do!  Despite  Todd’s attempts to “wiggle” out of a direct question; lots of people were able to experience “light bulb moments” and learn different ways to have better relationships and lead more prosperous lives…

We brought the show home with our “Ask PDA” letter and as usual it did not fail to set things off….this time it was uncontrollable laughter!!  Sporty Angel and I just couldn’t help ourselves!  This was a letter like none other we have received before so you just have to listen to the archives to hear it!  Don’t forget to share your  solution for the writer!!

The news has been a non-stop buzz this week! We had so many stories to cover that I’m sure we missed a few. Of course we addressed the biggest headline of them all; the untimely death of Ms.Whitney Elizabeth Houston.  All kinds of speculation surround her death and of course opinions are all over the place.  KiKi gave her “Whitney” story and spoke to the “real” person she was, hopefully now she finally be able to rest in peace.

Our condolences also go out to Former Bears DT, Tommie Harris, who just lost his new bride at the age of 29 and has to raise his 2 babies on his own now.

We covered some hilarious stories as well like;  a 15 yr old girl calls police on her mom because she was having sex in her own home! Little girl please!!!   I would have…. well this isn’t about me LOL, so moving right along!  You will just have to listen to the archives to catch all of the stories we shared.  We got tear jerkers and dads who have had enough of their ungrateful children.

Both Sassy and I decided to do the show in just our “wings” so we could fly free and advise KiKi. Oh and the biggest news flash is that I’m going to adopt Todd!! (you have to check archives for that tidbit) LMBO

Happy Day after the show, PDA Repeat Offenders & Rookies!

Last nights show solidified why Playing Devil’s Advocate™ is Edutainment™!  My usual motley crew; Sporty, Rocky, Todd, Ikiesha and our producer Chandra held the chat room together as we gave our spin on relationships in contrast to business.  I’m going to keep this one brief so you have to check out the archive to hear what happened.

Now some people get in relationships for love, some people  get into them for the money and/or convenience; no matter the reason, it all boils down to business!!! We started the show with me and Rocky volleying back and forth about the similarities between what happens in business and the parallel things that happen in relationships.  From the initial investment (dating) to the closing of the deal (marriage) the scales are pretty much even and we broke it down in detail!  (click here for the diagram)

I have to say, this show wasn’t our usual comedy of errors, it was actually more provocative than usual, but you would have to listen to the archives to see what I mean!  We also broke down some “business terms” and drew a straight line parallel to “relationship” terms and I have to say the chat room and the panel appeared to be quite surprised and enlightened by the similarities.  If you want to see them for yourselves, click here.

Some people (and by people, I mean “men“) in the chat room challenged a comment I had about “vacation time”  that sent me on a tirade and I just couldn’t hold my tongue any longer! I even raised my voice a little bit!

You already know I will only give you bits & pieces of the show, so run along…the archives are awaiting your visit!

I am going to leave you with this….Often times in relationships we never are as dedicated, diligent and patient as we are in business when in most cases it could be beneficial to reassess the way we view relationships.  The mold we used to structure our relationships/marriages is out dated and should reflect the needs that we have on a case-by-case basis.  With that said, I challenge you to ask and answer this question….When looking to have a successful relationship, should we look for love or for the best deal?

Hey Playing Devils Advocate™ fans and supporters!

I know some of you were either enlightened or exposed by last night’s show about staying in your lane in a relationship.  Let me preface this summary by saying KiKi went against the “MAN CODE” last night so I am writing this with extreme bias.  That being said, we discussed an array of terms and opinions concerning the proper roles and actions that should ensure a healthy one-on-one or side piece relationship. We spoke about the COMPANY CURFEW (the time that he/she has to leave after an in-house rendezvous) and the open communication in agreeing with the terms of engagement.

Rocky Miller had an interesting story about how the terms of one of his experiences was introduced to him, but you have to listen to the show to get that tid bit. Those Angels (Sporty and Sassy) were alive and kicking in the chat room handling the chauvinistic male commentary and KiKi was busy saying every damn thing she could to stir me up!  She knows damn well that the reason I would tell Rocky….uh..I almost gave it away. You gotta listen to the show to see how I escaped having tread marks from the bus KiKi threw me under.

Our legal expert Ikiesha al Shabazz, Esq. was kind of quiet (I think she was protecting her house guest) but she did offer a very interesting point of view concerning punishment and condoms. I know that sounds zany and trust me, her take on it was. We also had an unprecedented moment where both a male and female were felt up through the phone because of their sultry, velvet toned voices. I tell you it was getting hot last night.

Well as usual, the whole cast of PDA loves and appreciates our audience and your participation in the show, tune in next week!  Same bat time, same bat channel.

Let me say….I, KiKi Richardson, had a B-L-A-S-T on last night’s show!!!  We had sooo much fun!

Normally we don’t do much chatter on mindless matter (hey I made a rhyme), however there has been too much going on for us not to address it!  I knew this show was bound to be one for the record books because Sassy Angel was in RARE FORM!! She started out early talking sports and continued through the end of the show (but you have to listen to archives to see how she showed out!)

We started talking the Kim Kardashian drama and Todd had plenty to say about her! He wouldn’t even give her extra credit for….well you have to listen to hear what he said!

Then comedian, Rodney Perry (from BET’s Monique Show) joined the panel for the evening and his commentary had us all falling off our seats laughing!!

Some of the other topics we covered was:

• Beyoncé: Is she really pregnant or using a surrogate and sporting a prosthetic belly? (Sassy broke this story down for us)
• T. O.’s most recent 911 call…suicide attempt or another misunderstanding? Plus the bench warrant that was issued for his failure to appear in child support court! (The fellas had a lot to say about T.O. & it wasn’t what you think)
• Justin Bieber’s alleged baby mama drama
• Tiger Woods’ ex-caddy’s racist slur
• Joe Paterno and the Penn State sex abuse cover-up (Our sports analyst, Rocky Miller broke the story of Joe’s leaving PENN after 62yrs & it was interesting to hear everyone’s thoughts)
• Is Herman Cain the new Clarence Thomas? (you have got to hear the new name Herman was given)

There was so much said about Herman Cain, Ann Coulter’s “Our blacks are better than your blacks” comment, the Republican/Tea party and President Obama! You know no gossip, rumor or celebrity news conversation would have been complete if we didn’t discuss, Conrad Murray’s guilty verdict, his documentary, the Jackson family and its secrets including Michael Jackson’s love child (ren); and I don’t mean Prince, Paris & Blanket!!!

We had so much to talk about we never even covered the “Ask PDA” letter!!!  SMH….take a moment and listen to the show and you will know why!!
